What a beautiful Senior…Brittany…she is a basketball player at Breathitt County High School, but I think this shot reveals that she is also full of hope and promise and as the song goes, "…the rest is still unwritten".

The new year is here!  What an exciting time for everyone…I wanted to let everybody know about my first "Limited Edition" session this year.  It’s called "In the Red…" and will begin on Friday, February 2nd at 2:00 and run into the evening. 

This is a Valentine Session, in-studio and will be booked on a first come first serve basis!  The sessions are $350 and include a 30 minute session, 100 "Valentine" bookmarks and a 3 image storyboard collage! 

I’ll provide the Red stuff…you just bring the kids!

The calendar is open for sessions in February and March…there are some cool "Limited Edition" sessions in the works for spring…new LOCATIONS…and new faces at Suzanne Deaton Photography!  I will have all these up on my website very soon so everyone can book the sessions of particular interest.

Oh and my new year’s resolution…TO UPDATE MY WEBSITE!  MY POOR CUSTOMERS AND ESPECIALLY MY SENIORS…IT HASN’T BEEN UPDATED IN 6 MONTHS.  I PROMISE TO HAVE ALL NEW PICTURES IN ALL THE GALLERIES IN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS.  THANKS FOR BEING PATIENT.

I’ve made it over the hump!  I officially took my OWN kids Christmas pictures 2 days ago, and, like everybody else, I am now in waiting mode.  My cards haven’t even been shipped. 

I would like to thank everybody for a wonderful year.  I’ve run around like a chicken with my head cut off since February.  A lot goes on behind the scenes at Suzanne Deaton Photography.  This past year has been a whirlwind!  I’ve got some exciting news for January, but am going to wait for that suprise! 

I’ve also got something fun planned for "Girls Only" for late February!  I promise to have something in the works for Easter too.

For now, some rest…much needed…I’ve never worked so many long hours and late nights in my entire 11 years as a nurse…but as I sit here in my office and look at all the beautiful children and families that surround me, I KNOW there is no other place I’d rather be…and God has surely blessed me….Merry Christmas…Blessings to you and yours as well.
