I just wanted to say that all sessions are 300% booked!  If you do not have an appointment already please understand that I would be glad to get you in after the first of the year, but I do not have ANYTHING until then.  My Fall calendar has been full since the first of August!  I’m so sorry if that leaves anyone out of getting fall pictures or Christmas sessions, but…

It’s all 4 of us can do, yes I have a staff of 4 now, to return calls, send e-mails, upload, download, design collages, jewelry, purses, create one-of-a-kind Christmas cards, assemble albums, drive through the bank, go to the accountant, pay the taxes, go pee, frame pictures, handle errors, create displays, meet with the customers, smile, thank God everyday for this gift…

I just thought I would remind everybody that’s had ANY session with me this year that they could EASILY do a card from ANY session!  This is an example of what a card may look like from a session where the child WAS NOT dressed for Christmas!!!  Some of these are my favorites to do because I have to dig deep in my brain to pull out designs.

I just wanted to wish everyone a good weekend!  I’ve been up since 5:00am getting ready for a little mini trip to Louisville to the KPPA Fall Seminar!  I’ve got 6 competition prints ready for the judges to view and tell me what I can improve before the REAL competiton in January!  I’ve already got butterflies.  Trying to pick images for competiton is like trying to pick out your favorite puppy from a litter!  I LOVE THEM ALL! 

This will be my assistant Tracie’s first trip as my employee!  Last year we headed to Phili for a seminar there!  What fun that was!  They cancelled our connection flight in Detroit so we had to spend the night in the Westin, adjacent to the airport and fly the next day.  THE PLANE WOULDN’T START!  That’s my luck!

Anyway, off to Louisville…I’m excited for Tracie to meet my other photographer friends from around the state…John Michael, Carleetta, Mark, Trey…maybe I’ll post some pics when I get back.

Can you see the halo around this little girl’s head?  Well, maybe it’s not visible to everyone’s eye, but to me…she’s an angel in disguise!  Being the person BEHIND the camera is truly a gift.  I get to witness and capture moments like this frequently.  And, they are ALL unique and different…each child…a gift from God…
