I was very honored when the Hazard Herald newspaper called and asked me to submit a picture for the COVER of a new magazine they are publishing for tourism in Hazard and the surrounding Perry County area!!!!!!!!!!! I tried to tell them that I don’t really have any pictures of the beautiful landscapes that surround Perry County. My great friend Kenny Dunn has some of the most beautiful pictures in the WORLD of nature. I steered them towards his website which is www.southernaccentphotography.com Anyway, I told them I’m a "people" photographer…but then I remembered I’d been to Buckhorn Lake for a session and I did have a few that would show off the lake in the background. By the way…this would be a good time to give Kenny Dunn some praise. He is a photographer in Hazard who e-mailed me almost 3 years ago and REALLY encouraged me in this business. He is the FIRST person I call when something goes wrong technically…the digital world can be sooooo technical…he has loaned me his backup camera before, his printer, his memory cards, etc…anyway, just a thank-you incase you are looking…how nice to have some great support so close to home!
