Here are some images from Spring Break…we went to Mrytle Beach, SC for 7 days!  There were 21 kids there all from Hazard!  The rest was wonderful, ha ha…we had 8 kids in one condo.  I’ve never made so many sandwiches in my life!  I only got my camera out for about 10 minutes one evening because it was so windy, and well, I just didn’t want to spend my vacation "working", but taking a few of my nephews and my friend Tracie’s little boys was the only way I could get them to go with me!  I told them that if they would come I would do "beach pictures"…

This is my oldest nephew Matthew.  He’s been at my house today playing…ever so quietly…and I look up at him and notice just how long his hair has gotten.  See, I’ve been encouraging his mom to let him grow it out so we can do cute pictures of him…

Now, knowing Kelly (my sis-in-law) the way I do, if she would have had ANY IDEA that I would be taking his picture, he would have been spit-shined with perfectly combed hair!  But, that’s just not my style…

I looooooooove his shag…and could not keep my hands out of it any longer…out came the hair gel…and out came the camera!

This is Hunter…a precious little boy who has been through more than most of us ever will be.  He was diagnosed with leukemia a few years ago and has been fighting the fight of remission!  Everyone who knows this little boys is pleased to shout that HE’S CURED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His mama is beside herself with joy so we decided to celebrate with a session to show how prayers can be answered and God still performs miracles everyday!

I continue to ask God to show me HIS glory through photography…

Well ladies, I have to give a HUGE thank-you to everyone who came out and supported GIRLS NIGHT OUT!  We raised over $300 for the Make a Wish Foundation of Kentucky!  My hope is to host this event every year and grow it larger and larger!

We had great food, tons of vendors and lots of prizes we gave away!

The winner of the $500 gift certificate was Peggy Steel!  She was so excited!  Peggy is a very loyal customer of mine, so I was super pleased that she will benefit from the certificate!
