What a fun (and exhausting) past couple of weeks! We have been seeing so many babies come in the studio and I just love them! It is my belief and hope that if mommies will come in and get great images of their babies when they are tiny they will never regret it. It is such a fleeting time anyway. I am always blessed to just be present at such a treasured time and I thank these mommies and daddies for letting me be a part of their child’s portrait history.
If we could only bottle this color! This little girl is precious. Her mom and I were talking about how rare it is to see such naturally curly hair any more! I had a ball with her. Thanks for looking!
I heard on XM radio today that more babies are born in September than ANY OTHER MONTH of the year! Wow! I’m pretty good at math so that means people are busy doing other things in December besides Christmas shopping!
I’ve done quite a few maternity sessions lately. I don’t get to post as much in my gallery because a lot of women are pretty personal about some of the images! But I have permission to post a few of my favorites…This is my friend Amy and she is so excited to be having another boy! She already has one beautiful son and I know he will be a great big brother. You can also see the beautiful family she is a part of. Thanks Amy!

I just wanted to post one final run-thru of what I have left in terms of sessions available for the rest of the calendar year.
Full-Sessions: Tuesday-September 13th, 10:00am
Tuesday-October 10th, 1:00pm
Wednesday-October 25th, 11:30am
Tuesday AND Wednesday, November 14th and 15th 10:00 and 11:30am
I am still trying to work all my existing customers in that want a Christmas Card session. Tracie is making calls daily…if you think you are left off the list please call. Also, get those deposits in to reserve your spot…these are first come first serve and if you do not send in the deposit, we will not hold your session time. I have added another half-day on October 4th for extra sessions (go ahead and shoot me now)!!!!! These are going to be sooooooo fun and cute!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope that helps with scheduling. I do not have any weekend times left until January. I apologize if the other times available do not work out for everyone, but a lot of time goes in to each and every session that I do and I have to keep myself somewhat sane in order to do a great job this fall.

I will have to say this was the most fun session to do! First of all, anyone who knows Tyra knows she is a firecracker. She sings constantly and is NEVER still for a second! Tyra came in to her photo session and said, "I’m a singer and a performer"…she sang in the dressing room, sang to me, sang to herself, sang to anyone walking by…you get the picture. My daughter, McKenna, came with me to this session because I knew Tyra was close to her age and they might have fun together…
Boy was I right! McKenna helped me pose, light, and dress her…and at the end, Tyra asked McKenna if she wanted to dress up and sing with her!!!!! Well, she couldn’t have been happier if Kelly Clarkson had asked her herself! You will be able to see that they are right in the middle of "Since U Been GOOOOOOOOOONE"…and I could hardly breathe at the end from laughing so hard!!!
