This is one very special little baby…Max. He was born a sick baby and so everyone who knows him realizes just how lucky we are to have him in our lives. He has 3, yes 3 older brothers…so anyone who thinks their 1, 2, or even 3 kids are difficult to photograph hasn’t seen us in action with these 4 boys! Anyway, Max is the baby…the last and final piece to their family ( I hope and pray), but his mama isn’t letting him get behind in picture taking just ’cause he’s 4th. I had a ball doing this session and all the while we kept talking about how special he is. His mom looked at me and said, "For some reason he just pulls at my heart"…I can see why.
Let me just say that I am RARELY in front of the camera…and for good reason…look at that pose! As you all can see I do not know how to pose myself! I needed an updated picture to put on my website (or so I thought). So I grabbed one of the Seniors the other day at a session and had her start shooting…this photo is courtesy of Kayla Sandlin. Well I want you all to know that I have counted 3 rolls of fat down my side…I am in major need of many lifts, eyes, breasts, etc.
No wonder people are so hard on themselves! I learned how UNCOMFORTABLE it can be in front of those giant lights, do I smile? which is my good side? Oh yeah, I forgot, I don’t have a good side. Lesson here…patience…and I will DIRECT everyone as best as I can from now on. I will try to never forget just how much work it takes to get you and your family ready for a session! And another promise…you will only be seeing me BEHIND the camera…that’s where I’m most comfortable…and where I belong.

Hey suzie! I love this pic of you! You look absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!
I love ya~!~!
Hey everybody! It’s that time of year again to think about Christmas sessions. As a thank you to all of my customers there will be a "no sitting fee" this year for card sessions. There are about 25 available, around 10 already booked. Call Tracie for details about the sessions…she’s in the Gallery Tuesday thru Thursdays every week. She will have you send in a deposit to secure your slot. These sessions are approximately 30 minutes and are strictly for clients who have been to me in the past and just want the best card around! Tracie and I have made a list of everyone we think may be interested and are already contacting these people (Harold you were at the top of the list)! But please call us incase we forget someone…I’ve had over 300 customers in the past 3 years and no way to keep track of anyone until about 3 months ago!!!!!
I do have several sessions left for fall…4 in September, mid-week…3 on Friday evening October, 6th…some mid-week in October, several "Limited Edition Fall Sessions" at a NEW location (call Tracie for details…436-1988)…2 sessions each on Saturday November 4th and 11th…and some mid-week at the end of November…I have 2 left for newborn babies mid-December, but will not be showing the presentation of these until January 11th.
I hope this helps somewhat with the times available. I’m sorry if I can’t accomodate everyone’s schedule, but do to the the "growing pains" I’ve experienced and the individual attention I like to personally give every session, I just can’t possibly take on any more sessions and do quality photography.
Thanks!
~Suzanne
…that saying is so true…I have always wanted to get a hold of these two little girls and photograph them so I was thrilled when their mom scheduled a session! I just love their natural beauty, their relationship with each other and so, photographing them was effortless. A few pics…

Hi Suzanne,
Great job. I love those outdoor natural light portraits. Have fun at the seminar in Chicago. I tried to get in and it was already full.
View this photo View this photo It’s difficult to pull out the expressions from Seniors I want…they are so critical…of their hair, thier make-up, their skin, their clothes…they are not children…yet, not women either…thus, the reason I LOVE photographing them. I see myself in them…some 16 years ago.
It is always a challenge to try and make each session look different. It is something I strive for…"originality". My favorite quote, "It is better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation!"
So, this Senior I took to a "new" location…something funky, and chic, but still as comfortable as your own home. Anyway, a few that I think are just breathtaking.
